Research Focus: Becky is a second year MPH student studying infectious disease epidemiology and global health. Becky’s research focuses on the development of nanoparticle-based treatments and vaccines for leishmaniasis, a debilitating parasitic disease. Ultimately, Becky is passionate about engineering solutions to improve public health, with a particular focus on neglected tropical diseases and designing for low-resource, endemic settings.
